[Acne] Why am I getting small white heads all the sudden now that I'm taking care of my skin?

Ever since I started properly cleansing and moisturizing my face my skin looks so good! No more discoloration, redness, huge pores, or fine lines. But I am getting random little tiny white heads. They go away pretty easily with a bit of benzoyl peroxide but they keep popping up in random areas. A small one on my cheek or my forehead or nose. It's nothing big but they are quite painful for some reason. My routine- AM- Innis Free Volcanic Face Wash, Innis Free green tea serum moisturizer, and Etude House sunscreen PM Innis Free Volcanic Face Wash and then Innis Free green tea serum moisturizerI'll just spot treat with some benzoyl peroxide if needed and I don't wear make-up. I also change my pillow case weekly.It's a simple routine becuase I'm a beginniner. I've been using this routine for 2 months but just this past 2 week I started getting small whiteheads. They aren't very bad I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.
