[routine help] dehydrated skin, but reluctant to use vaseline, could it break me out?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
it's really hard for me to patch test as i already have acne caused by several different things (ingrown hairs, diet, type of skin, clogged pores, dirt or grease or oil, and to top it off i had a reaction to sebamed gel) that come and go. So i am currently treating my dehydrated skin with a moisturiser that doesn't break me out however I'm paranoid of using vaseline on my face, i tried it out on half of my forehead (acne prone area for clogged a pores) last night and saw a spot there this morning could be related or could not, could just be my usual skin or a spot coming to head i didn't see as my forehead is fairly red and dry atm i just don't know! :( Any tips?

[Product Question] Why can't Garnier micellar water take off my cleanser/sunscreen?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I use a cleansing lotion (either Avene or LRP) every night to break down my sunscreen. If I rinse that with tap water all the product comes off. But if I try to wipe it off instead with a cotton pad soaked in Garnier micellar water, I see sunscreen & cleanser beading up all over my face like drops of milk. It simply does not come off. Why? Am I using it the wrong way? (Garnier pink cap, btw.)I'm just curious about this because my tap water is hard and heavily chlorinated...if I can find a gentler way to rinse my face that would be awesome. I have tried a couple of different filters but the water still reeks of chlorine.

[Acne] Looking for some help!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
http://imgur.com/a/zxDYKI've struggled with cystic acne since the age of 13 and I'm 20 now and whilst my face is no longer covered in cysts I still get pretty big spots that leave huge red mark. Most of what you can see in the photos is scars but some are active spots. I've been on every antibiotic and birth control possible and it's looking like my only option is accutane. However, I have in the past year been able to control it to an extent (and these photos are on a bad day in the worst possible light) with skincare but I want to know what more I can do because I really do not want to go on accutane. I also have really dry, dehyrdated skin that is very reactive. My routine: morning - splash face with water, embryolisse lait-creme concentrate, la rosche posay anthelious spf 50 (overkill in the UK i know but it is the only spf I have atm)night - take make up off with simple cleansing oil, clinque take the day off for 2nd cleanse, paulas choice2% BHA a few times a week, la rosche posay serozinc, the ordinary retionoid 2% (on days when I don't acid tone) and the days I dont use retionoid I will use the ordinary's alpha arbutin or niamicide & zinc, then a few drops of rosehip oil from the ordinary and if I need the moisture the farmacy honey savior. If I have a particularly bad spot I will treat it with mario badescu drying lotion or PanOxyl 10 10% benzoyl peroxidePlease can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to help my skin, I really am at my wits end :( Thank you

[Acne] College guy in need of a little bacne assistance

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Greetings /r/SkinCareAddiction!Your subreddit has popped up on my feed a time or two before but today I am here to request your full assistance!I'm a full time college student who turns 21 in July. I work out multiple times a week and am in pretty good shape. My diet could use a little work, admittedly. I shower once in the morning and once at night and wash my sheets once every week and a half or so.I don't have face or chest acne aside from a black head or two on my nose. However, the back of my shoulders have roughly 10-15 small red pimples combined. It hasn't been enough to get me to actively go after them until today. I just decided I'd give it a go lol.Anyway, I don't know anything about skin care so I'm hoping you guys have some tips for clearing up my back! Thanks guys.
