Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have really bad dark circles around my eyes. I am quite pale, and my skin is really clear – the only reason I wear makeup is to cover up those damn circles. I've been asked TWICE before "how did you get black eyes??" It's not a nice feeling to know that my eyes look naturally bruised all the time. Somebody PLEASE recommend a product (preferably not too pricey), I am going crazy !!

[product question] Guys, can we talk foundation for a second?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
I adore this sub and have learned so much about what not to put on my face and how to better understand my skin, but there seems to be little discussion about good/bad foundations, and I’ve been spending all this time carefully researching each ingredient in my skincare routine, only to slather on foundation without a second thought. So I wondered what are your HG foundations, and your “that shit is evil” ones? Fill me in!

[Routine Help] Does vitamin E in liquid oil form help to fade scars?
Beauty Tips For Body Care
It is often recommended by dermatologists and self-healing people to promote scars to fade away. Vitamin E in oil form should be rubbed in on scars by massaging movements twice daily. There may be numerous subjective opinions, but are there any objective medical studies that confirm the positive effect of the vitamin E is really presented. Is it clinically shown to be effective in improving the appearance of scars?

[Acne] Vitamind D, did it for me
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Okay, so this post probably won't get a lot of attention, and this remedy will by no means apply to everyone, or even a lot of people. But if this helps just one person, I'll be happy. So, I had my skin care epiphany recently, when I started buying Coco-pops - yes, the cereal. They advertise it as being a good source of vitamin D, but that isn't why I originally bought it. But once I had it for breakfast a few times, and started noticing my skin clearing up, I went out and bought vitamin D supplements, and the results have spoken for themselves. I noticed a long time ago that whenever I go on holiday to a sunny country, my skin clears up. But when I come back, to grey old England, it goes back to how it was before. This could either be the sun drying my skin out, or the vitamin D you get from sun light. It could also be a combination.Another thing, I stopped getting as much cystic acne when I stopped moisturizing - the stuff was just blocking my pores. Accutane is the mother of all acne remedies, and it works by drying your skin out. Everyone on here worships moisturizer, but I don't see it helping clear up your skin. It may keep you looking young, but save it for when you're older. Each to their own of course, and please don't get out your pitchforks because I have gone against the grain.Tldr - Give vitamin D supplements a try.

[DIY] FRESH Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi everyone, I decided to DIY the Fresh Seaberry Oil since I find it way too overpriced. I've been trying the DIY version for the past month and I've been really liking it. I personally like it even better than the store bought one since ingredients such as fragrance etc. are removed & other good ingredients such as the Cranberry Seed Oil & Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate are added at a higher percentage. The percentages I chose for the main three oils are based on my personal preference and what my skin likes. You're free to customize it as per your needs. :) FRESH Seaberry Moisturizing Face OilVitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil , Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil , Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil , Rosmarinus Officinalis, (Rosemary) Leaf Extract , Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil , Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Parfum (Fragrance), Bht, Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Coumarin, Geraniol. [Misc] Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart!
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Since discovering this sub my girlfriend and I have never been closer. She takes skincare very seriously and this has given us something to bond over. I’m learning a ton!Now excuse me, it’s time for me to perform my nighttime routine of exfoliating with St. Ives Apricot Scrub, using a Biore pore strip, and moisturizing with coconut oil.
