[MISC] I’ve run out of my cleanser. I’m now having dreams about it. Please help me.
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Approximately 3 days ago, I ran out of my facial cleanser. La-Roche Posay Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. Now, I took it for granted. I uttered the words “It’s just a basic cleanser” far too many a time. It wasn’t until I ran out that I realized my horrible mistake. The gates of hell were opened.I decided to use this opportunity to try a new cleanser, one that has been spoken of very highly here; the COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser. I was very excited. My skin, however, was not. I think it sensed the betrayal. Upon using it twice, my cheeks were covered in several red bumps, annoyingly right underneath the surface. My skin was as dry as the sahara desert. I soon faced the regret of ordering it instead of my beloved La-Roche. I sent the COSRX back, and am awaiting my $11 refund. But honestly, I would rather have my La-Roche than my money. I deeply yearn for it.My next bottle of that gentle, milky godsend is being shipped by Amazon and will arrive Tuesday. For the next 3 god-forsaken days, I am forced to use whatever face soap we have on hand. Let me tell you, my skin has never been so angry. I am breaking out terribly. My pores are beyond compare to the surface of the moon. I am so red, my skin looks like it has sunburn. I am so dry. I am crinkling up as we speak.But that’s not the worst of it. Last night, I had a dream. About my cleanser. Yes, I had a dream that I was washing my face with my La-Roche cleanser. It was possibly one of the best dreams I ever had. I think I woke up in tears.I keep catching myself daydreaming, looking forward to Tuesday, November 26th, in which I can finally give my skin the nourishment it craves. I’m so sorry for letting you down, my love.I never realized just how non-basic this cleanser was until now. You never truly know what you have until it’s gone. I never took into consideration how hydrated, how clear, how calm my face was with the use of this heavenly product in a bottle. I will never sin like this again.If you’re reading this, please let this be a warning to you. If you’re running out of cleanser, or really any face products, don’t wait until the last second to buy one. Don’t make the same mistakes I did. Purchase another one now, please. If not, you will regret it, and unleash the demonic skin beast that lives inside all of us. Let me serve as a living testimony. Restock your products, please.And if you’re currently using the same La-Roche cleanser as I only hope to soon be, please, when you wash your face with it next, think of me. Maybe it’ll be a good luck charm for my Amazon package to arrive sooner.Thank you for reading. Pray for me and my skin.
