Beauty Tips For Body Care
tl;dr at the endI’m a 25yo M and I suffer from oily skin, dry lips, acne, acne scars, hyper-pigmentation, seborrheic dermatitis, black heads on nose, problems with texture and tone, basically everything short of leprosy. Everything was fine until I hit 18, then for whatever reason things went downhill very quickly and have steadily gotten worse since, no matter what I try or how carefully I look after it. When I have asked any of my derms why my skin is like this, they tell me I’m just unlucky with my skin and to keep washing my face. I’m hoping r/SkincareAddiction might be more helpful.FrontRight sideLeft sideChinLeft side angleRight side angleForeheadProductsLeft cheek scarsRight cheek scarsAcneMy current routine/habits:- Cleanse (Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser) and moisturise (Ego QV face oil free moisturiser) AM and PM- Sunscreen (Ego QV face moisturising day cream 30 spf) when I go outdoors- 20g of collagen peptides a day- Just started daily red light therapy- Change my pillowcase every night- Clean whole foods Keto and intermittent fasting- Daily exercise- Probiotics- Never touch my face with my hands- No dairy- 8 hours sleep every nightDespite my best efforts, my skin is only getting worse with time. More oil, more acne, more seb derm, more scars and more dark spots.I tried a 6-month course of oratane, too, when I was 18. Things got significantly worse while I was on it, and when I finally stopped things had not improved at all, and my lips have been permanently dry ever since. To his credit, my most recent derm did a scar subcission and collagen graft for some tethered scars, and it went really well, and he recommended something called co2 laser for the rest of my scars - “the gold standard for scar treatment” he called it - but I told him I wanted to try and get the acne and seb derm and excessive oiliness under control before I try any kind of scar treatment as I’m afraid my other skin issues might interfere with my skin’s ability to heal post-laser and I really want to get the best results possible from it without any potential risks or complications, or maybe making things even worse as I’m extremely prone to scarring and hyper-pigmentation with basically every pimple I get now, no matter how small. What are your thoughts? How should I go about tackling this situation? What products or habits might help? And should I forget trying to get things under control before I go get my cheeks lasered and just book the appointment now? Or am I right to wait until I've got my skin behaving a little better and only then happily get my face melted like the Nazis in Raiders of the Lost Ark?I can’t tell you how much any and all advice will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.tl;dr trying to take care of my skin but its slowly getting worse and worse and I'm out of ideas, need help

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi i am a dishwasher and i need some help. As a dishwasher my skin is constanly exposed to water and sometimes i use very strong corrosive chemicals. this leads to rough, dry red skin that itches a lot. Sometimes my skin is so dry that it hurts if i move my hands. Also these little bumps appear when i scratch my skin a lot. If you have any advice i would apprieciate it if you guys would share it with me.

[Skin Concerns] Post-inflammatory hypopigmentation after small wound - experiences
Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi everyone,Got a wound a 3 months ago while riding my bike. Honestly, the wound was not so deep, and I have had worse. It is recovering nicely but it has a whiter tone now. I've checked with my dermatologist and she was very direct saying it would not recover the original tone as it lost the cells producing melanin. I have read that post-inflammatory hypopigmentation can go away, and given the wound size and severity I am finding it hard to believe it would not. The doctor reluctantly advised Vitex gel to try and improve but without many hopes it would help. Here is a pic:https://preview.redd.it/jiygw0grwjv71.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9252ac9442c08c7b50e6a963bb55024799cf83b2Also worth mentioning I am slightly tanned and the current hypo-pigmented color is definitely more my original tone. Avoided sunlight on the wound while it was healing.Anyone else had a similar experience? Is it harmful at all to try Vitex? Thanks
