Decided to tackle my self inflicted scars. What products to use + what results can I expect? [Warning: Self-harm pics link]

Hi there. First post on this sub, appears to be the most appropriate place for this. I have not intentionally cut myself for at least 14 months (some of those scars still itch), while my oldest scars are over three years old. Today is the first time I've ever made an active decision to try to eliminate or at least reduce them. For some of the worst ones I fear that surgery may be required - or possibly they are unfixable.Here is the imgur album of my scars. This is not everything, I just chose the most damaged areas. Beyond what you see there are several patches of lighter scarring on my back, stomach, and chest.So far I have done one application of Bio-Oil, which is to be used twice a day for a 'minimum of three months'. Product reviews are generally positive although its cost is a downside; one usage over the scarred areas used 1/10th of a 60ml bottle, so a lot more cash will be spent once the 12 weeks is over. And I will probably need to be treating my skin for far longer than that, too.Thanks for reading. No need to worry about my mental health, that's being dealt with. Any tips would be appreciated! :<)
