Beauty Tips For Body Care
Please help me understand because I'm afraid I'll ruin my skin without it. It being knowledge. Because it is power.TL;DR - Used Cure Natural Aqua Gel a 3 times a week my first time using it. Bad decision. Exfoliated with it again and then applied a Origin's Charcoal Mask. My skin calmed down. Why?Background: I have combination skin prone to blemishes. Mostly closed comedones and whiteheads. Some red spots. Been dealing with this for years, tried "everything", blah blah blah.I learned about this Korean skin care routine thing last week, did some research, saw pretty skin and bought a BUTT TON OF STUFF because I wanted some of that good good.Since I've been dealing with acne forever~ and am impatient in general I tried like 7 new products at once for a week as of yesterday. (I know bad) One of them was Cure Natural Aqua Gel and it made my skin feel SOOO good. First time I used it entire spots just straight up vanished. Like literally it looked like God took an eraser and used it on my skin. No PIH left behind which is a prob for me. I've read people used it about 3 times a week max so I gave my skin about 2 days in between each session for some of that insta-clear.The Problem:I was afraid of exfoliators before last week so I never used them. The ones I tried were physical so they broke me out but I didn't understand that mess. Therefore when I saw my T-zone get super shiny with no oil I was confused but figured it was that "glow" I was looking for. My skin felt plump and hydrated from all my other products so I didn't give a care. Still, it made me feel weird so I just covered it up with makeup. Warning sign #1.Yesterday night, I looked at my skin and all of the sudden I had more blemishes than normal where they normally come out to hang. Warning sign #2. (albeit a late one)Somehow my brain figured out how to put 2 and 2 together and I realized I've been over exfoliating. (Confirmed with Google powers the next day) So what do I do? I exfoliate again like a dumb butt. I remembered Origin's Clear Improvement was kind to me and put that on next for optimal effectiveness. Because I like to compound my idiocy. Somehow my skin looks pretty again. I thought that this would make things worse? Gimme some of that science please.
