Beauty Tips For Body Care
Let's be honest guys. There have been times when we've looked in the mirror and our hearts sink and it feels like we've gotten a kick in the gut. We've hated what we've seen and we see ourselves as less because of the challenges we face. I'm not gonna lie, there have been many days where I look in the mirror at night after taking my makeup off and want to cry because of the way my skin looks. There is no denying that acne or skin problems of any kind can cause emotional damage, self confidence issues, and social withdrawal.But...BUT...I also know that if I've learned anything from my time on this sub, it's that we have to learn to see ourselves as beautiful and handsome on the way, not just at the end, of the journey. I think one of the biggest challenges of having acne is realizing that you are still an amazing, beautiful (or handsome), extraordinary person, regardless of your condition. It's hard to think that way about ourselves (I constantly struggle, too) so that's why I'm here to remind all of you:YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOUR SKIN LOOKS LIKE!We are our own worst critics, and we forget that people who really care about us won't care about what out skin looks like- they'll still love us! So let's love ourselves a little bit every once in a while. And if some of us are already there, do it some more. We deserve it. :)
