[Sun Care] Can I layer a chemical sunscreen over a physical one without reducing the efficacy of one of them?

I'm currently using a pure mineral sunscreen (Banana Boat Kids SPF 50) for daily protection, but still want to wear another SPF (Hada Labo UV Creamy Gel) because it makes for an incredible makeup primer. I'd normally just wear the Hada Labo, but it's not sweat resistant and here in the south I need something that will stick. That aside, would the chemical filters in the Hada Labo sunscreen break down the physical block of the Banana Boat, or am I good to use it as a primer? Thanks!
