[Anti-Aging] When should I begin using retinol and is that even a good idea?

I'm 20 and already have pretty deep 'laughter' lines as well as some more minor creases between my eyebrows and around my eyes. Should I look into retinol cream at this age? What brand? Or what else might be better?
