[routine help][acne] not seeing progress with medication/routine

Beauty Tips For Body Care
(pictures below)This is my first time posting here so sorry if this is lengthy! So my skin is sensitive, dry, and acne prone, and I've been suffering from acne for a number of years already. There has been a patch of acne on both of my cheeks for as long as I can remember, and that is my main concern (I get acne in other places but not as much as on my cheeks).I started to treat my acne in June, with Aczone gel and Adapalene 0.01% cream. Went back to derm, aczone wasn't working but Adapalene was, so she put me on Adapalene 0.03% gel and Onexton in August. My problem is that my skin has been getting red, tight, and dry in the past few weeks, moreso than it ever has. This causes me to skip applying one medicine, or both, for a day or two. My routine in general varies because of this redness, tightness and dryness, and it's frustrating. Here is my routine: Morning: * splash face with water or take off dirt/vaseline with Christina unstress toner * while face is still moist, apply Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion * wait for it to dry, then apply Onexton to mostly entire face (on dry/red days, only to worst problem spots) * wait ~5 min * apply Cerave moisturizing lotion, wait 5 min, apply Hada Labo Gokujun Perfect UV Gel Sunscreen OR apply Eucerin daily protection (I don't really like it though, have just been using it for sunscreen since my Hada Labo ran out) * apply makeup as usual * take 1 Solodyn 55mg tablet after eatingNight: * wash face with Cetaphil gentle cleanser * wipe off excess makeup with Clinique makeup remover * apply Hada Labo Hyaluronic Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion while face is still moist * wait ~15 min, apply Adapalene * wait ~15 min, apply Cerave moisturizing lotion * wait for it to dry, apply either vaseline or Mary Kay extra emollient night creamSome days I don't apply the Hada Labo hyaluronic lotion, some days I skip the nightly occlusive, some days I skip the nightly adapalene. I am just super super frustrated because I've been fighting the same acne for a while, and while it looks like it's getting better, it then gets worse or doesn't change. I'm on Adapalene, Onexton, and Solodyn - and it looks better...but not by much.My biggest concern is the redness, tightness (mostly around my mouth), dryness, and occasional stinging that I get when I apply products. I don't want to ruin my skin, and it just looks like it's going in that direction. Here's a link to my photos the first photos are from now/September, and the last photos are from June-August. sorry the order is reversed. As you can see I've come a long way with closed comedones and everything else, but the acne still persists in the places it always has. Maybe I have to change my routine? Or firmly use the medicine even if it irritates my skin?
