[Product Question] Will applying two layers of a 2% BHA exfoliant work better?

So I'm curious, I just got an idea.Do you think applying double the amount of a 2% BHA product (I.E applying a regular amount and waiting for it to dry, then applying another layer) work similar to a 4% BHA product?
