[Sun Care] Which indicates a better UVA protection: PA++++ or 'broad-spectrum'?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi SCA,I'm looking for a sunscreen with high UVA protection since we're going into Aussie summer but the differences in UVA-PF labelling between Asia & Europe/Australia is giving me some trouble. As I understand it so far, products labelled PA++++ indicate a PPD value >16, and 'broad-spectrum' sunscreens require the UVA-PF to be at least 1/3 of the labelled SPF (i.e. a broad-spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen has UVA-PF>16).My question is: Is there a way to compare values for PPD and UVA-PF? (Are they actually the same thing with different naming?) And more generally, am I better off going for an Asian sunscreen labelled PA++++ or a 'broad-spectrum' one?
