[Acne] - Acne seems to be spreading under the skin, or potential skin infection

So I've recently developed a skin problem that I've never experienced before and am not sure how to deal with! Hoping someone here knows whats going on or how to treat it.I recently got a new pimple on my cheek - deep under the skin, a little red but doesn't protrude much. I've been leaving it alone other than spot treating it with buffering lotion, in the hopes that it would go away by itself. This morning when I woke up, while that pimple was still the same, two new ones were developing right next to it. They feel the same as the first one - deep under the surface with a small bump, but not super noticeable. I'm concerned because I noticed that the skin around all three is red, and this redness seems to be spreading. It looks similar to how the skin around my eyebrow looked when my eyebrow piercing got infected, which makes me think I have some weird infection going on deep below the surface of my skin.Have any of you dealt with something similar? Can deep pimples get infected and spread below the skin? Any recommendations on how to treat it?My routine, in case its helpful: AM: nothingPM: Cleanse with Clinique Take the Day Off Balm, then Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. Moisturize with CeraVe in the tub, spot treat with Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion.
