[Acne][Skin Concerns] Red, scarred and lumpy skin for years. Anyone had this and successfully treated it?

So sorry about the extremely bad quality of these photos, I only have my phone camera. Tried to take both inside and direct sunlight photos.Album link: http://imgur.com/a/qUGglMy skin has been very red and scarred and lumpy for as long as I can remember. I can't leave my house without wearing makeup and I can barely look into the mirror most days. I live in Australia in a small town so finding a skin treatment that might work is hard and I can't really afford to go to a dermatologist, but if you guys think it's a good idea I definitely will start looking into it. Same goes for treatments that will definitely remove the issue.I've been trying to treat it with Phisohex for a couple of years now, but it dries my skin out and doesn't seem to be doing anything. I have also recently been given a prescription for doxycycline from my doctor, but I believe that's prevention for further acne. My mother said she had the same issue when she was younger, so it might be something to do with my skin as a whole rather than hormones, but I don't know. From looking at this subreddit for a while I think it might be PIH, but I'm not sure. My skin type is pretty normal, not too oily or dry.Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.
