[Misc] Does anyone have experience with returning used products to Sephora online?

It says in the online policy that items must be new or gently used, but I know they accept everything in all conditions in-store. Is this a different policy for online shopping? I have something that's not quite working (especially for this winter weather), but it's all I have and was really expensive so I want to return it and it's almost used up. Thank You.
