[Skin concerns] Patches of dry skin around my mouth for a month

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have combination skin with a super-oily T-zone. This winter is my first in a cold, windy place for several years. I have these dry patches around my mouth that has been there for a month. It's above my upper lip and between the corners of my mouth and my jawline. They're kind of itchy/uncomfortable when I move my face. There is clearly little flakes of dead skin that look a bit gross. I'm not sure what to do about it.Here's my routine, in case anything is making it worse. I've used it for a while:AM: Neutrogena oil-free acne wash with salicylic acid, Red stridex every few days, Neutrogena healthy defense spf25PM: Neutrogena oil-free acne wash with salicylic acid, olay regenerist night resurfacing elixir (AHA?), mizon snail recovery gelAfter getting the dry patches, I have tried: not going over the area with Red stridex, applying extra Neutrogena moisturizer, switching to Simple light moisturizer for that area. It's frustrating that it's been a month, and nothing has changed!Things I'm thinking about trying:a mask exfoliation like Origin's get me out of trouble, hyaluronic acid serum for extra hydration,or an oily moisturizer in that area (I don't get acne there).I'm afraid to exfoliate in case it irritates the skin more, but the flakes of dead skin suggest that exfoliation might help. What would your advice be?
