[Review] Neutrogena hydro boost gel cream is amazing!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
As someone being extremely acne-prone and sensitive to cream bases/fatty alcohols, I have a very hard time finding good moisturizers. Because of my skin issues, I've naturally been drawn to gel moisturizers and I have tried many but often times don't find them hydrating enough. They all had stuff I didn't like:Garnier Moisture rescue gel:Highly fragranced and also has alcohol in it (alcohol denat! why is this in a "moisturizer"?)Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing gel: Amazing texture that soaked right into skin and never let my skin feel greasy. I used this for years until it was not hydrating enough and also did a search for it on cosdna and found a couple pretty comedogenic ingredients in it. Discontinued use.Philosophy Take a deep breath: Sister loves this stuff. I tried it and found it thick and almost waxy feeling in a weird, gel-cream texture way. Smelled funny too. Blech! Returned.Philosophy clear day ahead: this had salycilic acid in it i believe. Plus, it smelled SO horrible, like plastic? And generally smells don't bother me so I was surprised how much this one bothered me. Also had a weird texture and felt like it dried me out more vs. moisturizing, obviously because of the salycilic acid in it. Returned.Simple ultra-light hydrating gel: I did like this, plus it has no fragrance no dyes etc and nothing that can cause breakouts (unless you are sensitive to dimethicone, this has that). it is just a little on the thick side and can feel sticky upon application, and at times does not feel hydrating enough.BUT.I recently tried the Neutrogena hydro boost gel cream. Just be careful, there are two versions, and the containers look exactly identical. There is one called the neutrogena hydro boost WATER GEL. this is the one you want to stay away from. I don't know full ingredients but it has dye and fragrance in it. The one you want to look for is the neutrogena hydro boost gel-cream for extra dry skin. This stuff is MAGIC. It was so smooth, cooling, silky, not heavy or greasy AT ALL. I applied this last night after stridexing my face and my face felt like a baby's bottom, I'm not even joking. I woke up in the morning and it was completely soaked in. I just had smooth, hydrated, supple skin. So if you've been struggling like me, try this cream. It is fatty alcohol free, does not have any comedogenic ingredients (checked cosdna) dye free, fragrance free, and oil free. Even though it is listed for extra dry skin, I think it's perfect for oily/combo/acne prone skin. Try it! Hope this was helpful =)
