Hi all! I have quite bad intented acne scars. I've realized there's not that much I can do about them except fillers which I'm not really interested in. My question is if they ever become skin colored? My scars are still slightly red and that makes them more prominant. Keep in mind that this redness seems to be related to blood underneath, it isn't pigmentation. The scars are about 3 years old so I figured they would be skin colored by now. I've got a simple daily routine that consists of a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and a 2% BHA exfoliant. But I don't think my routine affects the color at all. When I search for post inflammatory erythema the color usually really stands out, like a pimple. My scars have had this slight redness for a long while now without getting better it seems.It's mostly noticeable when I'm outside on cloudy days. Because I'm rarely in the sun and I use sunscreen I'm super white so the redness stands out.
