Hi skincareaddiction. I'm usually a lurker myself but the left side of my face is getting out of hand. It all started when I tried switching my skin care routine to help fix the blackheads around my cheek and it has backfired. When getting acne, it would usually be ready within 1 or 2 days, I would be able to pop it, and a few days later, it would disappear. It was very mild. However, while using a different regimen, I developed these very stubborn acne on the left side of my face that were raised and purple. I doesn't rise to a yellow dot like my usual acne and I have tried popping them and pus would come out but they would never disappear... When I leave them alone they get sensitive in a few days and I would somehow accidentally create an opening for pus to come out, but again they haven't shown any signs of disappearing. I changed back to my old regimen so I am hopeful that I wont get this type of acne again but I need to know how to treat whats already on my face. I'm not even sure what type of acne it is.
