[acne] To me, butt acne sufferers!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
First time poster, longtime lurker. I have chronically dry skin (no matter where I live. Summertime in New York? Dry skin. Winter in Colorado? DRY SKIN). Generally it's also very sensitive. Most chemical exfoliants result in tons of CC on my face if I miss a day, but my butt skin seems to be much tougher, and responds well to a bit of exfoliation.I have had buttne forever. Middle school, high school, college, adult life... Each and every time someone in high school told me they were jealous that I didn't have bad face skin, I laughed a little bit, because my pimple-ridden martian landscape of a rear haunted me. I saw a derm about it a couple of times when I was younger, but she suggested that I let it go, because it wasn't visible in my day to day life.Anyway. After dealing with this for what seems like forever, I have finally found a winning combination that works for my skin, and I hope that it can help anyone else who hides their less than perfect naked booties.AM: 1. Healthy glop of Cerave SA Cream in the tub. Massage into booty. 2. Vaseline. Seal that stuff in!! (Also... buy some black panties. I call them my butt love panties. The vaseline will not do your cute lacy stuff any favors)PM: 1. CosRx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser in the shower 2. Stridex in the red box wipedown. Air dry. 3. Alpha Hydrox Spot Light Targeted Skin Lightener. I apply a thin layer everywhere- in my particular case, I get bad PIH on my bum. PIE on my face though. No idea why. 4. Another healthy glop of Cerave SA cream in the tub. 5. MOAR VaselineOnce a week, I use a 40% Lactic Acid MUAC Peel.In addition to all of this, I got a stand-up desk. Most of my work is done in an office, and it isn't uncommon for me to spend most of the day sitting in front of a computer. This year, I got a stand up desk, and it really minimized active and new buttne! I know it's not feasible for everyone, but if you can manage it, I highly recommend.I've been on this routine for a couple of months, and my butt has never looked better! No new bumpiness, and the PIH is fading slowly.Sorry for the wall of text- I hope that this can help someone else!
