Beauty Tips For Body Care
I just started using an aha in the morning (14% glycolic with a ph of 3.7), and .15% retinol at night. I've suffered from very dry skin all of my life, but have never experienced any peeling. I've been using the above products for about 2 weeks now and have noticed significant peeling, including on my eyelids, even though I wouldn't dare put those type of products anywhere near my sensitive eye area. Is this normal? Does anyone have any experience with an AHA? I wash my face morning and night, as well as, heavily moisturize. I also pair the AHA with a sun screen, since I know it can make you more sensitive to the sun. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not. I'm in my mid 30s and I want my skin to look better, not worse. I don't suffer from acne and I normally don't have sensitive skin. I'm honestly at a loss so any help and or suggestions are welcome.
