[Acne] [Skin Concerns] Does this look like purging? Also, does KP purge with chemical exfoliation?

Pics: https://imgur.com/a/OSA10I started using Dr. Wu mandelic acid 18% serum a couple of weeks ago, 2-3 times a week. I am also experiencing some flakiness but no irritation or tightness.I highly suspect I have a case of facial keratosis pilaris, just based on the fact that all of my blemishes have hard plugs and I always look like I have chicken skin aka tons of CCs, but rarely get full blown pimples (before starting the mandelic acid). The whiteheads are slightly tender but definitely not cystic. They are happening in all the places I usually break out (most of my face lol. But my nose is still fine which tells me enough, probably). The plugs in these pimples are also solid sebum.Does KP even purge with chemical exfoliation? I mean, I'd think so, but I don't know. I am waiting to see a dermatologist but in the meantime I wonder what you guys think of the possibility that what I have is a form of KP.
