Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I've been having this issue for about 2 months now around my mouth, having moved to a new place for a new job, so you can imagine how annoying this is;Pic 1Pic 2Pic 3(Sorry if they're too blurry, and I'm not sure why Imgur flipped them but for now I'll leave them as I'm at work)Started out as a pimple, sure, I get those sometimes, let it swell, drain it, tea tree and done. Bit red for a few days but gone. Maybe once every 6 months. I can deal with that. This time, this has CLEARLY spread and is burning and almost constantly painful. Whiteheads are forming at my hair base/follicles 90% of the time I get them (daily), and some whiteheads are just randomly placed, and the whole area feels sensitive.I hope this is folliculitis as it's treatable.I've tried 2 or 3 Clearasil facial washes, washing morning and evening. No change.I've tried Clearasil's spot targeting cream which I BELIEVE has Benozyl Peroxide in it, every night for over a week with no change.I've layered on Germolene, which made it better for sure but certainly isn't helping the god damn redness and inflamation.I tried Sudacrem last night and that's not changed anything, if anything made it worse again and more inflamed.I've tried Avene creams that are meant to sooth and not clog pores. No change but they do relieve some pain.Just bought some Panoxyl Aquagel 10% which arrives tomorrow which is apparently a fantastic way of treating folliculitis.Every morning I wake up with anywhere from 3 to 10 new whiteheads of varying size and get popping. "Don't pop them" doesn't apply here as it's damn embarrassing.I haven't seen a doctor yet because I need to re-register here, and I can't see my registered doctor 1 hour away because I no longer fall in their area, so I'm in dermatologist limbo until I can get a booking (no doubt weeks away, thanks NHS).I'm not sure if Benozyl Peroxide will fix this as I'm pretty sure the Clearasil spot targeting stuff has it in it, and while it certainly tingles/burns a bit, the redness is still there and it just coagulates over night and I wake up with whiteheads elsewhere.I change my bedding frequently.I've washed all my towels and use fresh ones every 2-3 days. I've cleaned the bathroom etc.I just don't know what to do. The spots are far less irritating than the god damn constant redness and raised bumps that refuse to bugger off.I moisturize with Vaseline Intensive Repair/Rescue and while it is quite oily, it lasts, and I've been using it for maybe 5 years now. Never had this issue before.I have the kind of skin that dries if you wash it and don't apply a moisturizer, and some of these lighter moisturizers that aren't oily just simply don't last all day and I dry out.Anyone have any ideas???
