[Acne] is there anything I can do at home to get rid of scalp pimples?

I have some pimples on my scalp that always recur in the same places. Some of them have been around for over a year. You can't see them unless you part my hair in weird places, and even then they're small, so they aren't a cosmetic problem. They're not itchy or painful unless I really mess with them. I have an oily scalp and a tendency to play with my hair and massage my scalp throughout the day, so I assume that's contributed to it. I used to suffer from facial acne as a teenager too. Some of the pimples get a lot smaller on the day I wash my hair, but they never fully go away.These pimples don't really bother me, so the only reason I'd want to get rid of them is if they posed some kind of danger. I really don't want to shell out money for a dermatologist visit, but if they're dangerous I will. Is there anything I can do at home to get rid of them? All the shampoos I see online for scalp health seem to be about dandruff, which isn't a problem I have. is there any at-home remedy for scalp pimples?
