Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have had KP all over my legs for a long time, probably since puberty. I used to think (as a teenager) that I had razor bumps.Recently, I got fed up and decided to do some research and try out a routine. I used to just wash my body in warm water with Dove bodywash and did little else. I was pretty non-committal with moisturizer. Here's my before pic: https://m.imgur.com/iph1mCQ . Pretty much covered in red, scaly bumps that made me feel very self-conscious.My new routine: in the shower (mostly daily), scrub legs with a Salux cloth (Japanese exfoliating cloth - www.thesaluxshop.com) and soap free cleanser. Rinse. As soon as I exit the shower, I moisturize thoroughly with Vaseline's cocoa butter lotion. After only 2 weeks, the results are pretty marked: https://m.imgur.com/xLEe7iNI still have some red bumps, especially on the exterior part of my calves, but I have noticed that some of the unsightly red dots on my legs aren't even raised and are just dark marks (like acne/inflammation marks that eventually fade) from previous bumps. And my legs just feel way less scaly and scratchy. I am hopeful for further improvement and am impressed by what I've seen in just 2 weeks!
