[B&A] Twelve-year skin care journey, finally love my skin!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have had horrible acne since I was about 12 years old. Chest, back, face, the works. My parents took me to dermatologists but they always seemed to prescribe me different combinations of the same 3 - 4 topicals and antibiotics, despite my insistence that those products were not working and were making my skin worse. I have oily skin and every topical I have tried just seems to dry me out and irritate my skin even more. My skin was okay when I was on birth control, but I went off of the pill in favor of the Paragard IUD in 2013 and my skin started getting steadily worse from there. Finally, last year I moved to a new city and switched derms when I was fed up with being 23 and having terrible skin. The derm took one look at me and instantly told me I had hormonal acne, put me on spironolactone, and prescribed me some topicals (which I never actually used). I found this site and started using Stridex in the red box along with foaming Cerave wash in the morning and night. On the spirono, my back and chest totally cleared up and all but a few stubborn spots on my face cleared up. I still have a lot of PIH, so I reworked my skin care routine in March to try and clear up the remaining problem areas. I also started wearing a lot less makeup and switched my foundation to Hourglass Liquid Powder, which was on Paula's Choice recommended list for makeup, and that has made a big difference as well. Here's my current routine:MorningCerave foaming wash.First aid beauty facial radiance pads (lactic and glycolic exfoliation).Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 SunscreenEveningCerave foaming washPaula's Choice Anti-redness exfoliating solution, extra strengthPaula's Choice Dark Spot Eraser 2% BHAMaybe once a week or so I do an Aztec clay mask. I don't have any before pictures, because I could barely look in the mirror when my acne was bad let alone take a picture, but it was cystic and I had tons of closed comedones. Here is my face now. In this pic, I just have some lip gloss and mascara on, I had been outside all day so my cheeks were a bit red though. I get compliments on my skin all the time now, I honestly never thought I would have smooth skin so this is a miracle for me!
