Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello,I was passing through this subreddit and checked out the FAQ. In the 1st point it mentioned pH balanced products, which I thought was great.Until my mid twenties, my skin wasn't very good. I tried a lot of the usual products but nothing seemed to help. I was afraid of stopping the "treatment" and my skin getting worse. And I was afraid that the "treatment" might stress my skin so much that it isn't actually benefiting from it.I didn't have much confidence because of my skin. After leaving the military I was jobless. And because I had no confidence I didn't go out either. So I said 'fuck it' nobody was going to see me anyway, so I stopped using all the products and just got a normal pH balanced soap (I use 5.2) without any fancy extras in it.My skin got actually better over time. And after a while old marks began to disappear too. And my skin wasn't as sensitive/prone to get bad anymore.I like to think that this was because my skin could build it's natural defenses because I didn't use the "aggressive" cleaning products anymore (a lot of them have pH level of 6 or above) but instead the pH balance soap.Anyway, back to the point of this post.I saw the pH level mentioned in the FAQ and thought that was great (reason see above) and wondered how much attention you actually pay to the pH levels of your products.I know a lot of the users here have it worse than I ever had it. And a lot of their problems can't be solved without specialized help/products.But I thought maybe a few people who didn't pay much attention to it until now can be helped by it.That's all.CheersTl;dr: Do you pay attention to the pH level of your products? If not, maybe it could make the difference you are looking/hoping for.
