[Product Question] Hydrogel vs Vaseline as wound dressing?

Hi guys,I will be getting an Infini RF treatment for acne scars soon. Infini is a microneedling procedure that breaks up scars with radiofrequency in the dermal layer of the skin.I want to promote wound healing as much as possible so that I get the best possible results. One of the ways I could do this is by dressing the wounds. I was thinking of using vaseline, which is probably the most well-known kind of wound dressing. However, after researching a bit, I found out about Hydrogel, which is supposed to keep wounds very wet.What I find confusing about hydrogel is that I'm not supposed to use it when there is a lot of exudate present. I'm not sure if this is applicable to Infini aftercare - it seems to be more relevant for burn victims... But I'm not sure.So I'm torn between using vaseline and hydrogel as aftercare products. If anybody knows about the wound healing mechanism, vaseline, and hydrogel, I would really appreciate your input. I would also like to ask you to recommend me a brand of hydrogel, since there seems to be so many; is there an 'original' and/or most effective brand of hydrogel?Thanks!
