[Product Question] Is it uncommon/advisable to double cleanse with oil + micellar water?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Sorry if this is a silly question >_>. I read a lot of guides and stuff on here and /r/asianbeauty but don't really know about all the variances you can have in a routine. I previously oil cleansed with baby oil or coconut oil then followed with Desert Essence's Tea Tree Face Wash. I always felt like I had a film on my face and my skin felt stripped after. I bought Garnier's 2-in-1 (blue cap) micellar water and used it instead of the cleanser after massaging off my makeup with oil. I have a few questions. Is the micellar water enough to get rid of the oil+dissolved makeup?I feel like most double cleanse routines I see are an actual dedicated cleansing oil + foaming cleanser. Am I just double cleansing wrong?Do I even need the oil? Without oil, I feel like it took 4 cotton pads soaked with micellar until I finally get a pad that's free of residue. But from what I've read micellar water is supposed to be a standalone cleanser? Thanks for reading
