I am considering treatments for acne scarring and pigmentation on my face. I am consulting multiple doctors for treatments, and one doctor recommended that I do the microneedling instead of laser resurfacing due to the fact that I have dark skin and laser resurfacing could increase the risk of hyperpigmentation post-treatment.I am a bit more skeptical of these options as microneedling costs $1000 for 4 treatments, and the doctor said I would need 4-8 treatments to have good results. The microneedling option is specifically called the Eclipse Micropen Elite.I am not going through with it yet, and I am trying to look for other doctors to see what they have to say as well. I would like your guys' opinion on these options for acne scar treatment.
