Beauty Tips For Body Care
Pics here: http://imgur.com/a/oNIo1long time SCA lurker here and finally created an account to share this because it might be helpful to someone else!I'm in my 20s with dark skin and have been struggling with cystic acne and PIH for the past 1 year/year and a half - my skin was totally fine for most of my 20s until I suddenly started getting horrible cystic acne :( I read a ton on here and tried various routines involving Stridex red pads, oil cleansing, Alpha Hydrox 14% glycolic serum, RoC deep wrinkle night cream, and Neutrogena healthy skin night cream, St. Ives AHA pads, Queen Helene mint julep mask, Innisfree volcanic clay mask, and probably others that I've forgotten. Tried my best to introduce new products one at a time, as recommended here, but nothing was working!!Finally tried MUAC's 25% mandelic acid chemical peel and saw noticeable improvements in just a few weeks. My PIH has also been lightening up. I stopped using it when I ran out and my cystic acne started coming back, so I ordered the 40% peel and started using it a few weeks ago. Seems to be working well!Sorry for the shitty quality of the pics. Wasn't really thinking of sharing them when I took them!I use the mandelic acid about once a week and use the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask a couple times a week.Routine:Morning - cleanse with Ponds Luminous Clean Cleanser, moisturize with Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SunscreenEvening - remove makeup with Garnier Micellar Cleansing water (blue cap), wash with Ponds Luminous Clean Cleanser, moisturize with either CeraVe Moisturizing Cream or use Neutrogena Healthy Skin night cream, cover with thin layer of Vaselinetl;dr started getting cystic acne in my 20s and nothing helped until MUAC 25% mandelic acid
