Beauty Tips For Body Care
I came across this neat post at r/AsianBeauty and I thought I'd post it here for discussion purposes as well. Thank you so much u/notsodaebak for letting me post this here! The only changes I made is the addition of the "routine" section. So, what's your style? Do you lean firmly to one side or somewhere in the middle?RoutineSimple & Clean :: Short and sweet. Nothing too fancy. Your skin only needs the essentials and your routine simply contains the basics: cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and maybe an exfoliant or spot treatment.Complexus :: You need more steps to actually pack a punch, or maybe you're targeting a lot of issues. You have an array of serums, toners, masks and creams. Maybe you have a slew of skincare products and rotate between them every now and then. Or perhaps you have an Asian skincare routine.Purchasing Product5-Star Rating :: Maybe it's due to known skin sensitivities, perhaps you're new and treading carefully, maybe you just don't feel comfortable without seeing how a product fared for others first! Either way, you prefer to only purchase items with at least a few thorough reviews, or cult favorites that have withstood the test of time.Risky Click :: Reviews and common favorites are all good and well, but you wanna test the open waters! You're comfortable seeking out new and lesser known brands/products and are willing to take some risks without the safety net of reviews. Bless you risky clickers, taking one for the team.Brand LoyaltyVIP :: You love certain brands, and you love them hard. You prefer to stay within a smaller amount of companies for any number of reasons - their ingredients play well with your skin, you like their cruelty-free methods, maybe a shop just happens to be close by to you and the convenience works out best.Menage-a-trois :: You just wanna try dipping your hands into everybody's pot at least once. There's so many brands, how can you possibly expect all your skin needs from just one or two? You find that a varied routine suits you best, or maybe you just like to see what's available. The Holy GrailTried & True :: You've found that product, and you're never letting it go! It may not even necessarily be grail status, but it's pretty darn close to or good enough - so you're done exploring. Why waste money on more toners if you found the one that works just right for you? It's shopper savvy and leaves you more pocket money for bills or exploring products you don't have yet.Never Settled :: You've surely got products you love a lot, things that work well - but you just feel the need to know if there's more out there. You like the hunt for products that can top what you already have, or maybe you live a blogging lifestyle and the product pile just follows it. There's no harm in trying another toner!Testing 1 - 2 - 3Valedictorian :: Spreadsheets, timetables, the works. You patch test religiously, scientifically, and swear by it. Safety first.Bad Boy :: Your whole face. That is your patch test. You'll tell others to be careful, but damn you just gotta snail it right now.Shopping BasketHome Grown :: You prefer to buy within your country. There's a lot of factors to consider - currency, taxes, shipping times - and you just find it easier to stay local. New retailers are popping up often! Maybe the product availability isn't as vast, but you don't mind.Wanderlust :: Everywhere and anywhere - that's where you'll shop! Sure the waiting times can suck overseas, but you're patient (or making local orders to tide you over.) The wealth of product available to you with the help of a shopping service is too good to resist trying at least once.
