[skin concerns] Which would be better for achieving a smooth skin texture, AHA or BHA?

I have some bumpy skin and hyperpigmentation. I was wondering that which product i would be better of buying to help. i cant afford both.i also have same quite brown skin. i understand that BHA may be better for that but i don't know if thats the case here
