[Sun Care] I think I've been buying fake Elta MD UV Clear on Amazon...

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been buying Elta MD UV Clear on Amazon for about 1 year (coinciding with breakouts that I hadn't experienced in a couple years) and today I found some reviews saying that a telltale sign of a fake is a rounded dispensing top rather than a dispensing spout. The top of my sunscreen was rounded; I began low-level freaking out. Then I read that the rounded dispensing top is the newer design and the spout is the old design. I've also read that Elta MD discourages its resellers (you can only get Elta MD from dermatologists) from selling its products on Amazon.Upon reading this today, I freaked out and threw away my Amazon-acquired Elta MD UV Clear and bought some legit UV Clear from the nearest dermatologist. I noticed that the new UV Clear was white in color, creamier, and smelled more like sunscreen. My old UV Clear was yellower in color, thinner, and smelled less like sunscreen.Have I been using fake sunscreen this whole time? Any tips on spotting fake Elta MD?
