[Acne] What the hell do I do about those big pimples that can't be popped?

You know the ones I mean? Where you can feel it coming and then you have to make the decision whether to try and pop or not. If you don't wait long enough, it won't pop and thus you've just made it worse. What then? When it's a whitehead if you get everything out it looks normal in a day. But these bastards just stick around and I feel helpless. I know it won't go away for a while because all the shit that didn't pop out is still in there. Help!
