Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've always struggled with hyperpigmentation. Im african american, so my skin is really prone to dark marks after acne. It seems like no matter what I do, I always get pimples...and thus, another dark mark forms on my face. They're mainly on my forehead and the perimeter of my face...its really disappointing. I really want clear, pretty looking skin, but I wonder if its not possible for me?For the past 3-4 months or so, my regimen is..Cleanse: Makeup Artists Choice Green tea cleanser, Mario Badescu Glycolic acid facial cleanser only 1x a weekTone: Proactiv toner (has glycolic acid in it)Exfoliate: Paula's choice skin perfecting BHA liquid (mainly around the perimeter of my face, where I get acne...maybe 3x a week)Serum: AM-Vitamin C serum, PM- Makeup Artists Choice Glylauronic acid serumSpot treatment: Paula's choice spot treatment (3-4 nights a week)Moisturizer: Trader Joe's Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer (Morning and night) Sometimes, I'll mix a drop of Tamanu oil into the moisturizer at nightSunscreen: 50 SPF, multiple times a day...cant remember the brand lolI use my clarisonic, with the sensitive brush head.Once in a blue moon, I'll use the fade peel from makeup artists choice..maybe once a week.I can say my skin FEELS amazing...but sheesh, I dont see any difference...it honestly makes me sad, and I feel really self conscious about my skin :( I've always wanted clear skin, ever since elementary school which is when I started getting acne. Im 19 yrs old now.
