Beauty Tips For Body Care
I’m getting really frustrated with my acne and trying to build a good routine. I have constant small bumps around my forehead and upper cheeks, occasional whiteheads on my forehead or jaw, and then sometimes I’ll get these big giant pimples/clusters of pimples on my upper cheeks or jawline. I definitely break out around my when I get my period but I’m not super happy with my skin the rest of the month either.I recently went out of town and my face freaked out, plus I’ve been biking and sweating a lot this summer. I was thinking it might be worth it to invest in one of those kind of expensive over-the-counter 3 step systems like Clinique or LRP but after doing some research, all the ones I looked into had such conflicting reviews.I’d really like to improve my routine and my skin. I'd prefer to use more natural products and happy to invest in a few more expensive things IF it's worth it. Here’s what I do now:AMWash with Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming CleanserToner: homemade ACV-water-essential oilSpot treatment: homemade tea tree oil with aloe as carrierSome mornings: Eucerin Daily Protecting Face Lotion SPF 30--if I bike to work I’ll splash my face with water or use a Cetaphil brand wipe to clean up any sweat/grime--PMWash with Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming CleanserToner: homemade ACV-water-essential oilSpot treatment: homemade tea tree oil with aloe as carrierFor a while the Aveeno cleanser + homemade toner was really great for me skin and it was a bit tight but felt really clean and I didn’t get many blemishes. That’s no longer the case and I’d love any advice. Here are some of my questions that I'm thinking about:I have a sample of Cetaphil facial cleanser. Should I use that for a bit instead of the Aveeno since the Aveeno a bit drying and no longer helping with acne? Or consider switching to something else?I recently bought Neutrogena RapidClear Daily Leave on Mask because it’s been recommended by friends and has good reviews online. I think I need help figuring out how to use it or if it's the right thing for me. According to the ScA routine, this is a spot treatment not an exfoliant, right? Should I invest in a chemical exfoliant instead, or in addition to this? Or a SA spot treatment instead?I have Eucerin Daily Protecting Face Lotion SPF 30 and use it some mornings. I’m freaked out about using it when I’m breaking out though and don’t use it consistently enough. Is this a good moisturizer to stick with or should I try something different? Or use something specifically for acne-prone skin at night/non-active days?
