Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have a compromised moisture barrier because of over exfoliation(physical). I have tried a lot of different creams and lotions to use as a moisturizer to try and repair my barrier but they all break me out or cause some type of irritation. Now a few questions. Can a moisturizer cause irritation on some of my face but not all? I ask because the place I usually get irritation from moisturizers is my inner cheeks along the "fold" and usually along my temples and jaw line.Can my broken barrier also cause a moisturizer i used to use to be able to use to now irritate my skin? I was able to use the aveeno daily moisturizer with spf15 just fine about 16 months ago but now it irritates my skin. my skin just 16-18 months ago was dry but now I have been diagnosed with mild Rosacea and SD. so it's been over a year of not having a moisturizer to repair my barrier and also not using any medications because I don't want to worsen my dry skin with the types of drying creams and gels I have been prescribed.I feel so lost even after looking at similar ingredients from moisturizers I've tried and trying something without the common ingredients I still get irritation. and it's so hard to find a gentle moisturizer that doesn't have some of the common stuff almost all moisturizers have.I've tried Elidel and Aczone my Derm gave me and specially the Elidel has made my skin worse specially the redness. I guess that's partly because of a lack of moisturizer. Now he's given me Finacea Foam but after a month I've yet to try it because I can't find a moisturizer or gentle cleanser either :(ANY help is greatly appreciated.
