Beauty Tips For Body Care
My skin type is quite dry and I live in the NW. I also have eczema that I usually keep under control with regular moisturizing and corticosteroids.Morning:Rinse face and neck with water.Apply Cerave.During the day, I will apply more Cerave as needed.Night:Shower in cool water and wash face with Cerave foaming.Tea tree oil with salicylic acid face wash ~once a week to keep my acne away. It doesn't irritate my face much and I've had good experience with moderate use.Dry face and apply Elidel as needed.Apply Cerave to face and body.Apply Aquafor 15 min later to forehead, eyelids, earlobes, lips (hot spots). This routine works pretty well for the most part but sometimes I find the Cerave doesn't moisturize enough on my face (I'll apply more if it doesn't seem to do the job the first time around). Rinsing my skin with only water has done wonders for my body eczema, while of course washing armpits/groin with a mild cleanser. I'm also going to try out the mineral oil cleanse in the shower. My question is about jojoba oil. I've used it in the past for my ears - they used to be stretched - and have not had any problems with it being irritating. I'm looking for that extra moisturizing. I should add that I'm also allergic to coconut oil *sadface. Is jojoba more of an occlusive or moisturizer? Like, should I apply before or after Cerave? Thanks in advance! I've pulled a lot of very helpful advice here dealing with eczema that used to bug me like the plague -_-
