Beauty Tips For Body Care
I got a UV patches and tried it out this past weekend. If you're unfamiliar (I was), it's a sticker you apply on your skin and apply sunscreen over as you would over skin. You can then scan the patch and it tells you how much UV exposure that area has gotten. This is just one data point, but after ~80 minutes of exposure, I scanned the patch and it was telling me I had a high amount of UV exposure and should apply sunscreen. I was using La Roche Posay's Anthelios 60 Melt in Sunscreen which is water resistant and was consumer report's top rated sunscreen (perfect store) two years running. I was at the beach but not in the water, and had applie dapplied heavily enough that there were visible white streaks running down my arm. In short, I don't feel super confident in sunscreens at the moment. I was wondering - has anyone else used one of these UV patches? I'm curious what results you guys have gotten, especially if you've used in somewhere with a lot of direct sun exposure. Thanks in advance!
