IMPORTANT NOTE: I am not here to seek medical advice. I will be seeing a doctor regardless of the advice I see here! I just want to hear from people who have dealt with cysts if what I'm experiencing sounds like one, or like something different.I have a lump that between my neck and shoulder on my back and everyone keeps telling me it's a sebaceous cyst. I'm not so sure, but who knows cysts better than /r/skincareaddiction?The lump is:Hard The size of a peaPainful both on the lump as well as around itUnder the skin-the skin moves freely over the lumpDoes not move easily on its own Not really red unless I've been poking at itMost of the sebaceous cysts I've seen look kind of red and/or have a blackhead or something in the pore. Mine just looks like a lump and it feels too deep to be a sebaceous cyst. But what I've seen online doesn't help much. I first noticed the lump last Thursday and I hadn't noticed anything growing beforehand.I appreciate you all! Thanks!
