[Sun Care] Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreens aren't matte/mattifying for me at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
They're much less noticeable than most other sunscreens (well, the Gel is), but they definitely don't dry matte and they don't seem to absorb oil at all. The Watery Gel gets almost matte after it dries but still leaves a slight liquidy shine everywhere and my forehead still ends up looking like an oil slick by the end of the day. The Watery Essence is not even close to matte - makes my entire face look extremely dewy and greasy.I've tried everything. Moisturizer under them, no moisturizer under them, shaking them before I apply, applying less than 1/4 teaspoon, applying quickly so the alcohol doesn't evaporate (if that's even a thing) - I still get shine.I still use the Watery Gel as my sunscreen because it's inconspicuous enough for everyday use, but it's not an ideal situation. I would rather my face look truly matte and I have to wipe down my forehead with a tissue in the evening. If anyone has an explanation or mattifying sunscreen recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated.
