Beauty Tips For Body Care
Using a throwaway because I'm so horrified and embarrassed of my skin. I'm 28, combo to oily skin, have had skin problems most of my teenage and adult life but nothing like what has happened recently. I've had the occasional cystic breakouts here and there every few months or so. About two months ago I went on OCPs (which I have been on this particular brand- LoLoEstrin Fe a few years ago with no issues) and I feel like this is the cause of this horrible flare up of cystic acne.This is what I'm dealing with. This all popped up over the past two weeks and I don't know what to do. Here is my skin routine currently- AM: Soap and glory vitamin c face wash Pixi Glow Tonic 5% glycolic acid Lumene Bright Now vitamin c shine control cream gelPM: Same face wash Pixi glow tonic TiZo restore retinol serumMy skin seemed to really like vitamin c products before this happened. I was using the neutrogena pink grapefruit cream cleanser for about 6 months before and was doing ok for a bit, but eventually I don't think my skin liked salisylic acid. Is my routine not enough? Am I using something wrong? Is it my birth control? I'm at my wits end. I don't want to go on accutane or any hormones. I actually cried in the shower today because my skin hurts and I've never dealt with a massive breakout like this before. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks in advance.
