Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'd like to know whether I have potentially damaged my skin.I have oily skin, but when I was a teenager it was really really oily. At some point I used a Neutrogena or Clearasil face wash alone (and then wandered why my skin felt so tight). My mum didn't have much skin care experience, she is one of the lucky ones to always have perfect skin, one pimple a year, basically no wrinkles, barely used/uses skincare or sunscreen, and she looks 20 years younger than she is. So she took me to a pharmacist who gave me a Vichy set which worked fine. I got a bit of acne on my face at some point, for which I took meds. And didn't do much after that till university. Since then it's been a learning curve, but I did use baking soda once a monthish for a few months, and there was a year in Hong Kong 3 years ago, when I used the classic Dove soap bar to wash my face. It was the only thing that helped with the oiliness (also, my research showed that it was an okay option for the face). Now I do have a routine with carefully researched products, but I'd like to know if I could have damaged my skin in previous years. I'm kind of obsessing about that at the moment. i'm 23 and I'm convinced I'm getting i'm already getting wrinkles. Also, I bit and tear the skin around my nails and my cuticles. It's related to stress. It has grown quite hard now and I'm worried it might stay that way. If I quit and moisturise daily can it improve? Is it possible that I have moved the edge of the cuticle too far down from all the picking and pulling? And if so, can that be fixed?
