Some products are no longer helpful, or even harmful, after some time. I got burned by this recently (literally, chemical burn): I used rubbing alcohol when traveling away from home.I have used rubbing alcohol in my arsenal for years so not even a little bit of a change. Well, 2 problems:It likely dissolved some of the plastic in the bottle.There were even cotton swabs dropped in the bottom even I inspected it (after).So, the upshot of this nasty situation is that I have a red patch on my neck that looks like ringworm. :(Lessons learned:Check expiry dates.Don't trust other people's products - they may dip and contaminate bottles that are meant to be poured or any other kind of nastiness.
