[Personal] Keratosis Pilaris gone after exfoliating with face wash that has salicylic acid and moisturizing with extra-moisture lotion.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I gave up trying to treat the Keratosis Pilaris under my tricep because it appeared to be getting worse no matter what I did.I decided to give it a go again. For a month and a half I've been exfoliating my tricep area with salicylic acid face wash (Safeway generic brand), rinsing it really well afterwards, and applying extra-moisture lotion generously afterwards. Like my first attempt, after the first week it started flaring up and looked a lot worse but this time I figured my triceps always look messed up regardless so I decide to continue. Surprisingly after the first week it started getting better. After 2.5 weeks it looked like sun burn marks or scars on my tricep. 4 weeks later it is completely gone (can still see small scars if you look really closely but no one can notice, feels smooth with your hand). For those with the condition and have tried this before to no avail, I recommend trying again. It literally takes an extra minute of your day and is a big confidence booster.Routine:1.Do regular shower stuff2.Apply salicylic acid face wash to tricep area (I don't personally use this for my face)3.Take loofah, make sure its rinsed pretty well so my Old Spice Swagger body wash isn't on it.4.Exfoliate with loofah GENTLY. I like to exfoliate until the face wash turns foamy white and continue to do so for like 6 seconds.5.Rinse.6.Dry Off.7.Apply extra moisture lotion twice to areas.Edit: I think reapplying lotion later on in the day helps too. I started doing this a few times a week after seeing how fine my triceps were looking before bed.EDIT EDIT: I just want to reiterate how amazing it is to have normal looking triceps. I just started dating again and I don't have to freak out every time I take off my shirt, no more explanations, and I was at the pool the other day and boy did I take my shirt off REAL QUICK.KEEP AT IT, IT MAY APPEAR TO BE GETTING WORSE FOR A WEEK OR TWO. Also damn I just started exfoliating my face for the first time in my life (once a week) and damn it makes such a difference.
