Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm not sure if this qualifies for this sub but I really wanted to share my journey with you guys and maybe help others who may be in the same boat. So to start off, before I had Mirena I never had acne. A zit here and there, but nothing makeup couldn't fix. In December my gynecologist referred me to Mirena and after reading all the positive reviews I decided to go for it. Two months in I started getting horrible cystic acne all over my chin and cheeks and breaking out all over my face. My gyno told me that was to be expected and that it would subside. It didn't. It got to the point where I would feel depressed every time I looked into a mirror. Months and many other negative side effects later, I got the Mirena removed. Thanks to that and my daily routine (posted below) I am finally able to have clear skin again. If any of you ladies out there are experiencing similar side effects, don't think it's just your skin betraying you! Definitely look into it and take care of yourselves. And good luck to everyone :)Morning: -Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser -Oil Essentials Lavender & Rose Hip Oil (found it at Meijer—softened/soothed my face) -Neutrogena Spot Treatment as neededNight: -Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove makeup -Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser -Aveeno Clear Complexion Moisturizer -Neutrogena Spot Treatment as needed
