Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi all!I wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so helpful. I recently suffered from the worst breakout of my life, and after scouring this subreddit I was able to narrow it down to a new moisturizer (EltaMD AM). On a side note, ALWAYS PATCH TEST. Even for innocent seeming products.Anyways, after using Cosdna (which is so helpful) I had an "ah ha!" moment and realized that the only common theme in my breakouts was dimethicone. Which kind of sucks considering how many products seem to have it. I was using Cerave AM, but hating how much it pilled up I decided to change to the EltaMD. After a month or so of worsening acne I switched back. My entire face calmed down, but i'm left with a lot of redness/scarring. And I still don't love the Cerave AM pilling situation.I have found lists of products sans the dimethicone, but was hoping someone could show me some of the best options for my dry/combination skin. Specifically moisturizers and sunscreens are my main concern, but if anyone has any makeup recommendations I would be so grateful!Thank you!
