[Review] The Ordinary Azelaic Acid - First Thoughts

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi all! Haven't posted much on here but thought I'd give my thoughts on the new Azelaic acid suspension from Deciems line, The Ordinary.About me: 26 year old white male with subtype 1 rosacea (biggest issue is redness and pore size)As someone with rosacea, I was really excited for this product to be released. Azelaic acid is supposed to work wonders (for some people) when treating redness. I've been on metrogel and found that it didn't really do anything amazing for me.First thoughts:the tube is the same type/size as the Vitamin C suspension. Zero issues dispensing the productit comes in a white cream that almost feels gel-like, again similar to the vitamin c suspensionone negative: I found that it doesn't spread very well, and that I had to use quite a bit to cover my face.it feels like it goes on thick, but it absorbs very fastI put it on last night for the first time, and woke up this morning to noticeable results. My redness had diminished quite a bit, and my skin tone looked more even.personally I found it made my skin feel a little tight/dry after putting it on. Be sure to moisturize and use SPF.Verdict: I think this product has definitely met my expectations! If you suffer from redness, you know how hard it is to find something hat works (not to mention the money that goes into it). This product is priced really well, and I'm already sold after the one day. After a few more days I might post a B&A pic. Fingers crossed these results continue!
